FOOD REVIEW 04: LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR

So apparently this is the foodie place of Liverpool. When we visited, we could see why. From inside out, from the décor to the menu, it was picture perfect and very Instagram-worthy!

The Food

For drinks, we ordered a normal hot chocolate and a peanut butter hot chocolate. The hot chocolate itself was pretty standard, but not the best we’ve had and the peanut butter hot chocolate was kind of lacking in flavour – there didn’t seem to be enough of neither the chocolate, nor the peanut butter unfortunately.

Food-wise, we went for the typical brunch items – the Fluffy Pancakes and the Avocado Toast. Both were delicious, but the menu was full of tempting items that caught our eye, so we will definitely have to return to sample some more of the menu. Sana has been previously and says the Veggie Breakfast is really good too!

We also got a side of sweet potato fries because we just couldn’t resist them (and Sana said she needed something savoury after her sweet brunch). They were delicious – just the right crispiness!

 The Location & Atmosphere

Located on Bold Street, which is a street swamped with restaurants, cafes and bars all as tempting as each other, the location could not be better. This street literally is a haven for foodies and bloggers. From the outside wall with the perfect brunch-lovers motto ‘Avocado is Bae’, to the simple yet aesthetically pleasing interior, the location and atmosphere were perfect.

 The Service

We could not fault the service at all. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

 The Price Range

The price point was actually very decent – it worked out to be around £10 per person.

 The Verdict

The food was delicious, and the simple menu had much more to offer so we would definitely return to try something different next time! We loved the atmosphere and the overall feel of the restaurant.
